Meet Orange County Cosmetic Dentist Dr. Orest Frangopol in Rancho Santa Margarita
Renowned Orange County cosmetic dentist and teacher Dr. Orest Frangopol brings truly international skills to his new facility in Rancho Santa Margarita.
Born in Timisoara, Romania, of a Greek father and Yugoslavian mother, he was trained at the School of Dental Science, University of Medicine at Timisoara, and graduated in 1994. Over the next five years, Dr. Frangopol built a successful private practice in his hometown.
In 1997, Dr. Frangopol attended a one-year postgraduate program in implantology at the European Academy of Implantology in Munich, Germany.
In 1999, he immigrated to Southern California. After passing the California board exam, Dr. Frangopol began teaching dentistry at DSI, a California-based international dental institute that trains foreign dentists and provides continuing education to practicing dentists.
Dr. Frangopol currently teaches at DSI’s Newport Beach and Colton campuses and has trained hundreds of dentists now practicing in California and across the United States.
From 2001 to 2005, Dr. Frangopol also taught intensive pre-board dental courses at New York University’s School of Dentistry. Since 2002, he has also served in private practice in Laguna Hills.
Dr. Frangopol's state-of-the-art cosmetic dentist office in Rancho Santa Margarita, which also serves Mission Viejo and other Orange County locations, is the first facility he has owned and operated in the United States. The advanced technology he uses at his office has been featured in the news.
